Transit Planning 4 All Forum

TP4A is excited to announce its day-long Transit Planning 4 All Forum. The Forum gives transit professionals, social services agencies, aging and disability advocates the opportunity to meet with colleagues from around the country to explore the intersections of aging, disability and mobility planning and identify strategies for inclusive planning.

Where & When?

It will take place at the Louisville (KY) Omni Hotel, on Thursday, May 12, from 7:45 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. during CTAA’s EXPO 2022. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

During this forum, participants will hear from project Directors about the history of the TP4A project, presentations from 3 current mobility on demand (MOD) projects, and findings from project evaluation. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in informal dialogue around emergent needs, best practices and ongoing barriers to inclusion for older adults and people living with a disability. The forum will provide attendees the opportunity to share ideas about where practices of inclusion need to go to truly increase active and meaningful participation for older adults and people living with a disability in mobility planning.
