Date Published: June 8, 2022Mayor London Breed nominated a transit accessibility advocate, Fiona Hinze, who lives with cerebral palsy and uses an electric wheelchair, to the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency Board of Directors Thursday.
If confirmed by the Board of Supervisors, Hinze will bring experience advocating for transit access for people with disabilities.
“It is important we have a member on the SFMTA board who understands the needs of our disability community and the challenges they face getting around our city, whether that’s riding Muni or navigating our streets and sidewalks,” Breed said in a news release Thursday.
