TTI Study on Accessible Transportation for Riders with Vision Disabilities
Date Published: March 6, 2024The Texas A&M Transportation Institute (TTI) is leading a Transit Cooperative Research Program (TCRP) study called Accessible Public Bus and Rail Passenger Information for Riders with Vision Disabilities. This project will develop a transit agency guide for improving how information is provided to passengers who are blind or low vision, and helping passengers independently navigate fixed-route transit systems. TTI is seeking feedback from transit agencies of all shapes and sizes that provide fixed-route transit services, please provide a response by March 15.
